About Michael Loffredo, M.D. – Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Michael Loffredo grew up in New Jersey and attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then went on to graduate from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While in medical school, Dr. Loffredo was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society during his junior year, an honor only given to the top four students of his class. Dr. Loffredo then spent the next six years at the Medical College of Wisconsin, completing his training in plastic surgery. During his training he conducted clinical and basic science research, which led to presentations at national plastic surgery meetings, as well as publications in well-respected scientific journals and plastic surgery textbooks.
Following his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Loffredo completed a highly sought after one year fellowship in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery with the world-renowned breast surgeon, Dr. Dennis Hammond at the Center for Breast and Body Contouring in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was during this aesthetic fellowship that Dr. Loffredo perfected his skills in all the latest techniques in body contouring and breast surgery.
About Seth Jones, MD – Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Seth R. Jones was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born with a compassionate nature and an aesthetic eye, he knew from a young age that he wanted to become a physician, specifically a plastic surgeon.
Early on, Dr. Jones demonstrated his personal commitment to his academics and to serving the community. At the age of thirteen, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Upon graduation from high school, he was named Valedictorian of his class. Following high school, Dr. Jones attended Brigham Young University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning a degree in zoology. Following graduation from Brigham Young University, Dr. Jones began his medical training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he earned the degree of medical doctor in 2000. After medical school, Dr. Jones completed a rigorous 6 year Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During that time Dr. Jones dedicated his time and skill to the people of Columbia treating craniofacial and hand anomalies. Following residency, Dr. Jones completed an aesthetic fellowship with a concentration in breast and body at the Hunstad Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
After completing his extensive medical training and board certification, Dr. Jones has pursued his long-held ambition of opening a plastic surgery practice with his friend and fellow physician, Michael Loffredo, M.D. In 2011, he and Dr. Loffredo founded Cape & Islands Plastic Surgery Center with the intent to provide their patients with the highest standards of patient care.
